MY BIRTHPLACE : VAGOSANA

I was born in Vagosana village of Kalol tehsil of Mehsana District in Gujarat State. I am proud of my Mother Land and I always salute it.

Vagosana is located 24 Kilometers far from the Gandhinagar, the Capital of Gujarat state, on the way to Ambaji, the famous temple in Gujarat. It is well reach by buses and private vehicles. It has a population of around 2200 covering Patel, Prajapati(Kumbhkar), Darbar, Thakore, Suthar(carpenter),Bhrahmin,Harijan communities.

My village is having school facility upto sixth standard. For further study upto graduation(Science, Commerce, Arts) and Post-Graduation(Science, Commerce, Arts), students are approaching a nearby town, Mansa. There is a famous Mahakali Mata's (Kali Mata) temple in my village. The people are performing 'NAVRATRI' and 'DEEPAVALI' garba in my village. The paper flower garba at deepavali is one of the attraction of festival. Peoples from nearby villages are also coming to enjoy this garba. These are the festival, we, staying at job or business places also, normally enjoying at our village only.
